Allan D. Lang, CPA
Allan Lang is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is licensed to practice as a CPA in Connecticut and Massachusetts. His practice has been concentrated in providing accounting and tax planning and compliance services to closely held and family owned businesses.
Prior to joining Shalik, Morris, Allan was a partner in Lang, Lang & Cullen, CPAs, a second generation certified public accounting firm founded by his father, Joshua Lang, CPA. Lang, Lang & Cullen serviced the Stamford, Connecticut area for over 60 years.
Mr. Lang has served his profession and his community in a number of leadership positions, including a term as Governor of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and Chairman of its Membership Committee. He has served as President of the Rotary Club of Stamford and as a Director and officer of the Pacific House Shelter for the Homeless in Stamford. In addition, he has served on the Allocations Committee of the United Way and as President of the Penn Alumni Club of Fairfield County. He completed a 12 year tenure on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield County, including three years as Treasurer and Finance Committee chair. Allan currently holds the position of Treasurer and Trustee of Temple Beth El in Stamford, and is an appointee to the City of Stamford Board of Ethics.
Allan was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow by his Rotary Club and received a District Service Award from the Rotary Foundation. The Jewish Home for the Elderly presented him with its Special Recognition Award and he was recognized by the Eastern Fairfield County United Way with a Community Builders Award for his service to the Jewish Home for the Elderly.
